Overhaul Anyone?

Please note the server is still not open to the public just yet, we will go live 18:00:00pm ~20:00:00pm Sunday server time the Full and Lite Download will be ready at that time you will need the new download to play illusiveRO so make sure you at least get the lite installer tomorrow that option will only work if you have an up to date sdata for those without, you will need the full install.

Third Job Tier:
The new third job tier presents quite a challenge to any staff as they are imbalanced direct from gravity from start to finish these new job tiers, the 3-1 & 3-2 jobs will be in the beta phase, and are subject to change at any time. The skills, delays,sprites,items,requirements,and even names are all still in the beta form. The biggest update to our previous server is the updates to the third job tier. To balance the new classes there has been a change in many of aspects of their mechanics such as stats, skills, delays, prerequisite, item requirements, sprite edits and much more. To clear up the "Beta Non-Beta" subject the server itself is not in beta form at all, however the Third job tier and all that relates to them is, and will continue to be until they are 100% complete. Your progress will be saved even though these classes are still in beta testing.

New Server Platform:
The server has changed from (txt) based to (SQL) based platform. What that means to you as a player is more stability, quicker updates, more complex quests dependent on SQL table. An example of a script that runs on SQL tables is the "Mail System" which on that note I would like to add is now up and running.

600+ New in-game custom items:
The new custom items will all be obtainable through at least one of the following methods (Quest,Drops,Donations,Events,& Points System) this should make the new gears attainable by nearly any means, with a bit of effort that is! the new custom items are too many to list each item but here is a simplified list of what has been added new to server.

Addition of over 400+ Headgears (upper,upper-mid)
Addition of over 100+ Wings (Lower-Head gears)
Addition of over 100+ Middle -Head gears
There were also many other types of customs added but those just so happen to
be super secret at the moment so no spoilers just yet, but many are soon to come!

Attendance Points System:(APS)
The system grants (2) points to new players upon initial login to the server. After the player who logged in accumulates 24hours of attendance on the server the player will receive (2) more points for every 24 hours of logged attendance. The points may also be earned via Events,Quests,& Guild & PVP Rankings. The "Attendance Points" of (APS) can be used to trade for in-game services such as ( Name changes, Sex changes, Rollbacks, Guild Leader changes, reward for certain donation items, headgear customization, and many more player services ) Once the Control Panel is up the points will be manageable remotely as well. So in summary the more your ingame the more bonuses you get as a player!

The illusiveRO Mall:
Yes it is finally back, the illusiveRO mall, and there have been some changes! The illusiveRO mall offers a great variety of items for all classes and has some great things for gearing up before grinding in some of our new dungeons! The prices are fair, and we hope the mall helps you to face almost any enemy! You can reach the mall via the Mall Warper in the Capitol city of Prontera. Also in the near future there will be another floor of the mall that offers even more great finds, so be sure to check back often.

MVP Ranker:
There is now a new MVP Arena available to players of illusiveRO. The new Arena has a total of (40) levels! A single player enters and a timer is set for 60 minutes. The player then has one hour to defeat 40 MVPs! This is not an easy challenge in fact I would like to view it as unbeatable! It is okay if you do not make it to round 40, but as you defeat more and more of the MVPs you will be added to the top player rankings and each level will reward you with a certain amount of zeny. The player who manages to defeat all 40 solo will be rewarded with an amazing prize! The arena has an entrance fee so be ready to go on a killing spree once you step foot in the Arena! Oh and the arena will also reward you with a certain amount of (APS) or Attendance Points.

PVP Ranker:
PVP Rankings are now up and running, anytime you kill a player in PVP you have a chance to be added to the top 20 PVP Rankers List viewable in prontera. You will receive a small amount of zeny each time you rank up in the top 20 list. Also when a player takes over the #1 PVP Ranker slot there will be an automatic announcement announcing the player to take the #1 Rank. Your PVP stats are also viewable in prontera even if you are not on the top ranker list. So happy hunting, oh and did I mention your kill/death ration will also earn you (APS) Attendance Points?

Guild Ranker:
There is now a new Top Guild ranking system in place. The guild ranking system is dependent upon guild activity, war of emperium stats, rivalry bonuses, alliance reduction, guild level, and guild quests completion.
The Guild Ranking System will earn your guild bonuses if you are in the top ranked guilds your guild will earn bonuses ingame. The top Ranked Guild is also eligible for a free premium web forum designed by the GM Staff-members! So as you can see it has its rewards for being a dedicated guild member or leader, also the guilds in the top ranking list will earn (APS) Attendance Points for!

illusiveRO Stylist:
You will notice four new hair styles, and now 250 hair colors and a staggering 550 cloth colors, we will always be updating the illusiveRO Stylist so that you can have your own unique identity!

New/Opened Dungeons:
Nydhogger's Dungeon is now open! The dungeon is designed for upper level characters to train in, and can be quite difficult for mid and lower level classes. The Dungeon also has quite a difficult MVP named Nydhogger, there are two levels to Nydhogger's Dungeon. You can reach this Dungeon directly from the Warp Agent in any of illusiveRO's cities.

Orc Memorial Dungeon is now open! The memorial dungeon is comprised of some tough orc and has two challenging levels to train in. The memorial dungeon is a good training grounds for mid to upper class levels, and has two levels to train in. You can reach this Dungeon directly from the Warp Agent in any of illusiveRO's cities.

Rachel's Sanctuary Dungeon has now been unlocked! Many of you already know the many perks to training in Rachel Sanctuary, and it is now unlocked and open to the players of illusiveRO. This dungeon is quite large and filled with some difficult monsters, this is a great dungeon for leveling even at higher levels and it is recommended to party here as you can gain a great amount of experience from it. This Dungeon has multiple levels and can be reached by any illusiveRO Warp Agent.

There are many more dungeons not mentioned here, that you will find ingame,also there are many new dungeons on their way, that have not yet been implemented.

New Cities:
Many new cities have been added to the Warp Agent. Some of these cities have yet to be setup with Supply Posts, Blacksmiths, Kafras etc. But will be added in very soon. Some of the new cities available through the Warp Agent are;
Moscovia, Manuk, Mid Camp, Jawaii, Splendide, Veins , Umbala & Rachel

Emp Break Room:
Ever wanted to se just how quick you can break an Emperium during WoE? Or wanted to see how you can improve you break speed, but always have to deal with a chaotic Emperium room during War of Emperium? Well, now illusiveRO offers a Speed test room for practicing how fast you can break an Emperium solo. This service is limited to the First and second job tier's for now. Support for the third job tier will come into play once the third job tier is no longer in Beta phases.

New Quests:
There will be many new quests coming to illusiveRO to compliment the (APSs) Attendance Points system. The geal is to make items that are in demand attainable through various methods, so that the majority of players will have a fair shot at attaining items even if they don't play a class that can farm the Card, or armor etc. To do this we will be implementing many top MVP card quests. The quests are long and take a very decent amount of effort, but do not require you to kill the actual MVP's for the Card, this is in addition to the (APSs). Currently the new quests are Berz, Dark Lord, and Doppelganger Card Quests, so hope you enjoy the new system of card hunting!

New Regular Events:
illusiveRO staff-members will now have Three new regular events to offer the illusiveRO community. They are activated only by a staff member, and have no preset time that they run on, so if your not ingame, you may just be missing out! The Events are as follows;

Mob Invasion: The mob invasion event is just as it says, it is a monster invasion, or a mob of invading monsters. When the GM's activate this event there will be an invasion on the map of their choosing of the mob of their choosing, and there may just be some rewards here and there, but don't let me give it all away, see you ingame!

Mr. Password: This event is like breaking a code, how it works is, one of the staff members will set a password for the NPC Mr. Password and set a prize to be obtained to the person who cracks the password, also they set a clue for all players to see under the same NPC. This event will run until someone manages to break the password set by a GM. Players may also check what prize the GM's set for each password simply by checking the NPC. Once someone breaks the code, it will be instantly announced ingame and the player will be rewarded with the prize! You as a player should note that there will be some very worth while prizes given away through this event NPC so be sure to check in when there are new events!

Mrs. Dice: This event is for multiple players to compete together, and like the other new regular events is set by a GM, there is also a prize set here just like in the Mr Password event. Once a GM starts the event you will need to head to the center of prontera and wait for the warp portal to appear to warp you to the event location. The event is a guessing game, a four sided dice is rolled with a total being between One ~ Four and there will be four labeled rooms to choose from, you try to guess the right number the dice will be rolled , so if the dice rolls a 2 and your in room 1,3,or 4 you will instantly be warped back to prontera. All players in room 2 will survive for another round until there are no players leaft but one. the last player will enter their name and win their prize.There will be an announcement ingame detailing who won the event.

I hope these new regular events will help you have just a little more fun ingame, since that is what this is all about!

Anti Bot System:
There is now in addition to our bot detection systems currently in place more anti botting support in place, making it nearly impossible to bot or abuse hacks without getting instantly caught. This should help our community grow with no worries of illegitamate progress being made.

Server Side Note:
I would like to add that I am personally sorry for the minor server wipe, but after I managed to go through all the logs, and heard reports way late I must say there is a need for a partial wipe of the server. Now that we have a nearly full staff of dedicated GM's we will not have a data loss of more than 24 hours, and no more server wipes ever! This is also thanks to the new SQL platform we are on, it offers much better logs of nearly anything I wish to log on illusiveRO and is much easier to go through! I would also like to elaborate a bit more on the rewards to those who come forward with exploits or unsafe bugs. The reward the person gets from reporting a crucial exploit will be far more valuable than the exploit itself, besides personal friends of not abusing exploits will merit a ban if necessary.

well the scripts that you may think generic and overused were actually made originally by our admin, who shared it with eathena.

No...they were not. Stop making yourself believe that. Unless your admin is called Keale (Mr. Password) and owns a server called VoidRO, for example. Or he's called iTouch (APS) and owns a server called hpRO.

The server as well as the full installer (and lite installer) will be up some time today, barring any unforeseeable and unfortunate incidents. Patching will not be optional, a lot of the new updates will crash you if you're not patched properly.
